International Tanker Chartering,
Inc. was incorporated in New York in 1967, having been the outgrowth of a parcel tanker department of a largely
dry cargo firm. Having forecasted the growth potential of chemicals and specialty liquids in the global market,
Joseph Gladis pioneered the first Chartering Brokerage firm in this specialized industry. Since that time, ITC’s
client list has included major chemical corporations and chemical departments of the world’s largest oil companies.
In 1986 ITC moved and reincorporated in New Jersey joining the exodus of major firms from New York City. Principal
